Samsung Galaxy S20+ BTS Edition

 Why did I buy?

I used Samsung Galaxy S8+ for almost 4 years. 

I really wanted to get Galaxy fold series, but there were some reasons why I didn't get it.

It is not water proof and scratchable screen.

 

I was waiting for new version of Galaxy fold.

Unfortunately my S8+ was down in sudden, and I had to replace it immediately.

 

I am huge fan of Galaxy, so iphone was not a option for me.

I wanted to choose one among S20 ans S21 series.

 

Normal versions(S20, S21) are low performed, and ultra versions(S20U, S21U) are too much.

That's why I compared S20+ and S21+

 

Many of people say that S21 version is degraded from previous one.

RAM, the number of camera, resolution, and weight.. S20+ is better than S21+

 

My key points were RAM and camera.

S20+ has bigger RAM, that means I can use a phone without delay.

I believe the bigger RAM is, the better.

 

Regarding camera, it has one camera in front, and 4 camera in rear.

I thought I could take photos with 4 lens. but it is not.

One of cameras is TOF(Time of Flight) that measures distance between lens and objects.

Still now, there are some issue saying S20 camera focus is not good.

However I think it is much better than not having TOF.

 How to use

 Well, there are plenty of ways to use a phone, based on each pattern.

I want to focus on camera function, that I'm satisfied with the most.

 

3 optical lens help me to take a photo easily.

When I took a photo with S8+ that has only one lens, I had to move forward or backward for zoom.

 

S20+ has 3 lens, so I can zoom in and out at the same spot.

It supports x30 zoom, but I rarely use it because of low resolution.

I use x30 zoom only when I want to show off my new phone to friends.

 PROS

• Quad cameras including TOF
• Bigger size of image sensor
• Enough RAM and memory (micro SD available)

 

CONS

• Thick camera

 Should buy?

If you are techy S20 series could be good choice because of higher spec at lower price.

However when it comes to design, S21 series are better.

 

For now I'm really satsfied.

Especially camera is very good.
