 Why did I buy?

I have 3 reasons why I got JBL Pulse2

 

1. Beam projector speaker.

I have a beam projector, PH300.
It is compact, and very useful for me.

 

However there is the only thing I miss, which is speaker.

It has speaker inside, but it has low performance, 2W.

 

2. Camping speaker.

When I go camping, I usually turn on music.

However the only speaker I had was the one in my phone, and it was low performed.

I want something, louder and durable.

 

3. Biking speaker

I like to ride a bike, listening to music.

Maybe I can wear bluetooth earphones, but it seems very dangerous.

 

If I wear earphones, I cant hear any sound around me. 

That means I can't recognize a car is coming behind of me.

I should open my ears.

To meet 3 reasons above, I have to find the speaker that is powerful, durable, cool,

and long battery life.

JBL Pulse 2 is perfect  for me.

 

 

 

 How to use

Unfortunately my projector doesn't support bluetooth.

I have to connect projector to speaker via AUX cable.

 

In other ways, it is so useful.

My favorite part is LED show.

 

In camping site, or on the road, LED lights attract people.

When I look at LED show at night, it is quite moody.

 

You can change LED shows in JBL app.

You can also draw something that will be displayed on speaker, but it is not recommendable.

Resolution is too low to recognize it.

Another merit is splash proof. (not water proof)

In my opinion, it is something I miss a little. Because it will be better, if it is water proof.

 

Anyway it is splash proof, so I don't need to worry about rain.

In fact, I like to put some water on the top of speaker.

I can see water jumping, following rhythm.

JBL advertises light lens that picks up color. 

Which means you can change color as you want.

Honestly I don't know the purpose. I haven't used it.

PROS

• Powerful sound

 Should buy?

We have brand new version of JBL Pulse today.

These are higher color resolution and water proof.

If you need a speaker that is used indoor, recent version of Pulse is better.

 

However if you are using it outdoor, Pulse 2 could be good.

Because it has metallic surface.
